Purpose of position

Work with our Olympian Chef, Corey Hume and join the award-winning True South Dining Room Kitchen team at The Rees Hotel, Luxury Apartments & Lakeside Residences as a Commis Chef.  You will be responsible for food preparation with an emphasis on impeccable hygiene practices.  

Skills, experience and attributes

  • Have relevant prior experience in high quality properties
  • Understanding of Food Safety and impeccable hygiene practices
  • Accuracy and an “eye for detail”
  • Keen to learn
  • Effective communication skills
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Enjoys learning new skills and working as part of a highly focused team
  • Ability to multi-task in a vibrant and busy work environment
  • Reliable and punctual
