Purpose of Position

The dream candidate will possess outstanding communication skills and is impeccably groomed. As the first point of contact for the hotel you will be customer service driven and enjoy exceeding customers’ expectations. You will be proactive with a vivacious and professional approach to guest services. You will conduct check-ins and check outs efficiently, whilst maintaining a friendly dialogue with guests. You will provide accurate and correct information on products and services as requested by guests and business associates.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes

  • Have previous front office experience in high-quality properties
  • Accuracy and an “eye for detail”
  • Passionate about “Customer Service/Care”
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy hotel
  • Be able to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
  • Have strong initiative and ability to think outside the square
  • Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
  • A second language is desirable
  • Well-honed computer skills and experience with PMS (Preferably CMS & POS - Guest Centrix)
  • Full clean driver licence - highly desirable 
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Long term commitment to Queenstown
